The CB Green Directory provides residents of the Basin with the local connections to be able to reduce their environmental impact, or learn more about our local ecosystems and sustainable living. This Directory is intended to highlight some of the organizations, initiatives and businesses that are local to our Basin.

BC Hydro offers a number of rebate and incentive packages to help us conserve energy, recycle appliances and live in a way that minimizes the impact on our environment.

Terasen provides clients and web users with a number of web tools and ideas that help reduce gas usage and make more efficient use of energy.

Fortis provides 4 sections to help maximize power usage and efficiency for renovations, buiding new homes, and bright ideas. They also have an eLibrary of energy efficient links and resources.
SolarBC: www.solarbc.ca/
Solar BC is an informational and resource site that helps people install solar hot water into their homes. The site provides information about tax credits, information for builders, local governments, schools and private residents.
EcoEnergy – Federal Grants: www.ecoaction.gc.ca/
This government initiative gives information about grants, benefits, tax credits, and other initiatives that the Federal Government is giving to help people increase the efficiency of their homes and businesses.
